    Installation Requirement Site Environment The PDU is for indoor use only. Install and store the PDU in a dry and well-ventilated place. Ensure that the site is free from direct sunlight and humidity. Do not install any electric devices or PDUs during a thunderstorm. Ensure that the PDU voltage is consistent with the local one.

    Mounting the PDU Toolless Mounting Align both mounting pegs to the slots of the PDU bracket. Insert and slide down the PDU to lock it rmly into place. Rack Mounting 1. Remove the mounting pegs on the back of the PDU.
  • Page 7 2. Secure the vertical mounting brackets to the two ends of the PDU with screws. 3. Install the PDU on the rack with screws.
  • Page 8 Connecting the NET Port Connect one end of the patch cable to the NET port on the front of the PDU, and the other end to a network port of a PC or KVM. Connecting the T/H Port Plug one end of the cable into the T/H port and the other end into the RJ45 port of a temperature/humidity sensor.

    Connecting the Power 1. Plug the PDU into a compatible UPS system or wall receptacle. 2. Plug the power cord into the power port of switches, servers, routers or other devices. NOTE: Do not exceed the maximum connected load of the PDU.

Set up a host device and the others as slaves, connect one end of the direct network cable to the SER port of the host, and the other end to the LINK port of the slave.

  • Page 16 Installationsanforderungen Betriebsumgebung Die PDU ist nur für die Verwendung in Innenräumen geeignet. Installieren und lagern Sie die PDU an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Standort frei von direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und Feuchtigkeit ist. Installieren Sie keine elektrischen Geräte oder PDUs während eines Gewitters. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Spannung der PDU mit der Spannung vor Ort übereinstimmt.

    Conditions d'Installation Site d'Installation Le PDU doit être utilisé uniquement dans un environnement intérieur. Installez et stockez le PDU dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Veillez à ce que le site soit à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil et de l'humidité. Ne pas installer d'appareils électriques ou le PDU pendant un orage.
  • Page 28 Installation du PDU Installation sans Outillage Alignez les deux chevilles de montage sur les fentes du support du PDU. Insérez et faites glisser le PDU vers le bas pour la verrouiller fermement en place. Montage en Rack 1. Retirez les chevilles de montage à l'arrière de la PDU.
