Operation tone setup (only by remote control
operation) (page 38)
1 Press the MENU key for 2 or more consecutive seconds.
2 Press the MENU key twice when "DISPLAY" is being
displayed to select "BEEP".
3 Press the ¢ or 4 key to select "BEEP ON" or "BEEP
OFF".
The mode changes each time the ¢ or 4 key is pressed.
"BEEP OFF":
The operating tone will beep twice, but will then stop
beeping.
"BEEP ON":
The operating tone will beep once, and will then beep
when an operation key is pressed.
Adjusting the contrast (only by remote control
operation) (page 39)
1 Press the MENU key for 2 or more consecutive seconds.
2 Press the MENU key 3 times when "DISPLAY" is being
displayed to select "CONTRAST".
3 Press the¢ or 4 key to adjust the contrast on the
remote control unit's display window.
÷ The contrast will be reduced when 4 is pressed, and
increased when ¢ is pressed.
Listening to music on the battery recharger stand's
speaker (page 40)
The speaker does not output sound unless the AC adapter is
connected to the battery recharger stand. The playback-related
operations are available using the keys on any of the main
unit, remote control unit and battery recharger stand.
1 Place the main unit on the battery recharger stand.
2 Press the 3/ 7 or 3/ ¢ key when the recharger indicator
stops flashing.
3 Press the VOLUME + or VOLUME – key to adjust the volume.
÷ When the unit is placed on the battery recharger stand,
the sound mode is set to the special mode for the battery
recharger stand.
