1) Fully unwind the rope. 2) Withdraw the rope from the inside of the drum through the hole and the slot. 3) Feed the new rope into the hole and out of the slot on the side of the drum (Þ g. 4.1). 4) Tighten the clamp at the end, leaving a free end approximately 1 cm long, and pull the rope to bring the clamp up against the internal wall of the drum. -
