    All devices that are operated with the PS12A power supply unit can also be operated with the PS-KP without additional cables.     Charging from the Mains A 100-240 VAC charger is included for charging the PS-KP. Plug the charger into the socket and connect it to the charging socket (7) on the PS-KP. When the LEDs go out, the device is fully charged.

    As long as power is being drawn, the charge status of the battery is indicated by the blue LED (1). • If the device is charged or if it is separated from the PS-KP, the LED will switch off. • In the event of an overload or short circuit, the PS-KP switches off.

    Notebooks and laptops can be charged via the Output 19V/3.5A (8). All standard adapters are included in the 8-piece adapter set, including the adapter cable. Attention: This socket is sealed with a cover so that a 12V device from ALGE-TIMING will not be charged with 19V volt and accidentally destroyed.

    The PS-KP can also be used to start cars with dead batteries. The jump start process may take a maximum of 10 seconds. Then the PS-KP has to cool down for 30 seconds. If these values are not observed, the device or parts of it can be destroyed.
  • Page 11: Maintenance And Care

    Disconnect the device from the charging cable or the 230 Volt mains adapter. Occasionally you can wipe the PS-KP with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or harsh cleaning supplies. With the cable disconnected, clean the pole terminals at the contact points with a brush and lightly grease them.
