Wear the GUV3050 Headset

GUV3050 BT headset can be worn only on the right.

Adjust the Headband

Place the headset receiver to your ears. Adjust the headband until it is comfortable, ideally ensuring that there is virtually no pressure felt on the ears.

Position the Miccrophone

To avoid low or distorted sound, and to provide clear and crisp telephone calls, the microphone should be positioned within 0.5 inches of your mouth. The microphone boom arm will move in a variety of directions to ensure the best fit.

Charge the battery

• Option 1: The headset battery can be charged when connected to a PC using an USB cable (provided), or using any micro-USB charger (not provided).
• Option 2: Plug the charging base into a powered USB port and then dock the headset.

Connect the GUV3050 headset

Connect to PC (using BT dongle)

1. Ensure the headset is switched on.
2. Plug the BT dongle into an USB port on your PC. The headset and BT dongle are already pre-connected.

Connect to mobile device (using Bluetooth)

1. Hold the On/ ff/ onnect switch in the connect position for 2 seconds until you hear the voice guided instruction. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
2. Follow the voice guided instructions to connect.

How to use the Headset

	FUNCTION	ACTION	LED STATUS
	Headset on	Slide the On switch	Green Light flash twice in succession
	Headset off	Slide the Off switch	Red Light flash once in succession
	Pairing	Slide the Pair Button	Blue Light flash
	Pairing Successfully		Green Light flash twice and blue light flash once in succession
	Standby		Blue Light flash 1 time per 8 secs
	Answer/End Call	Tap the Multi-function button
	Redial/ Reject Call	Double-tap the Multi-function button
	Adjust Volume	Tap the volume up or volume down button
	Mute/unmute microphone	Press and hold (2 secs) the volume down button

How to manage multiple calls

	FUNCTION	ACTION
	End current call and answer incoming call	Tap the multi-function button
	Put current call on hold and answer incoming call	Press and hold (2 secs) the Multi-function button
	Switch between held call and active call	Press and hold (2 secs) the Multi-function button
	Reject incoming call, when on a call	Double-tap the Multi-function button
