Quick guide

Charging the Primetab

Please charge your Primetab fully before using it for the first time.

  • ➜ Connect the DC plug on the supplied power adapter to the charging socket (DC IN) on the Primetab.
  • ➜ Then plug the power adapter into a socket.
The charging LED lights up while the device is charging.
  • ➜ Only leave the power adapter connected to the socket until the battery of the Primetab is fully charged. In addition, always disconnect the power adapter from the Primetab when you are not charging the Primetab.

Use the keyboard and the kickstand

Place the tablet on the keyboard and open the kickstand by putting both hands in the laterally attached notches of the tablet and pull the kickstand from the tablet.

Turning on the Primetab for the first time

  1. Press the on/off switch for about 3 seconds to switch on the Primetab. The setup assistant will then appear on the screen.
  2. Follow the setup assistant instructions to set up your Primetab.
    • ➜ During the startup, the wizard prompts you to register for your Microsoft account. If you do not yet have a Microsoft account, please set one up here.

After completion of the startup, your Primetab is configured. This may take several minutes to complete. Do not turn the Primetab off during this time!

Unlocking the display

As soon as the device has been set up (and every time it is subsequently switched on and booted up), the lock screen appears. Press any key on the keyboard to unlock the screen.

  • ➜ If your Primetab is password-protected, you must then enter the password.
  • ➜ Alternatively, you can also log into your Primebook via Windows Hello. To activate and set up this feature, select "Settings" ➜ "Accounts" ➜ "Sign-in options" ➜ "Windows Hello".

Start menu

To display the start menu, click the Windows icon in the bottom left of the display or press the Windows button on the keyboard.
Press the icon a second time to hide the Start menu.
The Start menu consists of the classic navigation list (A) and a useful app area (B) to the right of the navigation list.

To access this, scroll the navigation bar upwards.

The Action Center

The Info Center is a bar with quick links to some important Primetab functions, which you can either display or hide.
To access the Info Center click the memo symbol in the bottom right-hand corner.

  1. Call up Settings (see "Start menu").
  2. In the settings, click "Network & Internet".
  3. Click "Wi-Fi" on the left in the next screen.

  5. Click the network that you wish to connect to.
  6. Enter the network key (password) if necessary.
  7. Click "Connect". The Primetab connects to the selected network.

Reset

If the Primetab "freezes" and no longer responds, you can reset it. Press and hold down the on/off switch for at least 10 seconds until the Primetab switches off. Wait for about 20 seconds and then turn the Primetab on normally.

  • ➜ Any files that have not been saved will be lost when the Primetab is reset.

Switching off the Primetab
