HOW TO USE

ALWAYS unplug the personal blender before assembling, disassembling, cleaning or storing.

  1. Place the ingredients into blender cup. DO NOT OVERFILL.
  2. Place the blade assembly onto the blender cup and turn clockwise to lock into place.
  3. Turn the cup upside down so that the blade assembly is on the bottom. Attach the assembled cup by turning it clockwise to lock into place.
  4. Insert the plug into power socket, then press down the power switch to operate the blender. Hold for continuous operation or press and release to "Pulse". Hold the base while blending to stabilize. The glass cup can be heavy and cause slight shaking depending on the ingredients.
  5. To stop precessing, simply let go of the power switch. Unplug power cord from outlet. Wait until the blades stop completely before removing the cup assembly by turning it counter-clockwise to unlock it from the base.
  6. Remove the blade assembly then place the spill-proof lid or drinking lid on the cup to serve.

NOTE:

  • Never use hot liquids or run the appliance when empty.
  • The cup assembly must be locked in order to operate. Locking the assembly activates a safety switch built into the base.
  • Do not operate the blender for more than 60 seconds at a time. Let it rest for at least 60 seconds between each operation.

To prevent severe personal injury, never insert hands or utensils into the blender while it is in operation.

The product is not intended for blending hot liquids. This product is not intended for blending frozen solid ingredients. It is recommended to chop ingredients into smaller portions before freezing, and then allowing the ingredients to thaw slightly before mixing. Large frozen solid ingredients may damage the glass cup. Crushed ice is recommended instead of solid ice cubes. For liquid ingredients, do not fill the cup pass the maximum capacity. Overfilling the cups could result in spillage, causing burns and/ or property/product damage. A maximum of 3/4 of the capacity is recommended.

BLENDING TIPS

  1. When blending ice cubes, use up to five cubes at a time. Pulse to break up the ice into small pieces before continuing.
  2. Do not use the blender for mashing or grinding heavy foods (e.g., potatoes or meats) or to stir thick mixtures (e.g., dough). It cannot whip egg whites or substitute dairy toppings.
  3. Pour liquid ingredients into the blending cup first unless a particular recipe says otherwise.
  4. Cut all fruits or vegetables into smaller pieces that are approximately 3/4-inch to 1-inch.
  5. Do not overfill the blending cup.
  6. If the blades are not operating smoothly, stop the blender and add some liquid, or reduce the solid contents in the cup.
  7. Do not process hard foods such as crackers or meat.
  8. A maximum of 12 tablespoons (180ml) of coffee beans can be ground at a time.
  9. If blending action stops during blending or ingredients stick to sides of the jar, turn blender OFF, remove the lid from the jar, and use a rubber spatula to push mixture toward blades.
  10. Do not process hot foods or liquids in blender.
  11. Do not store food or liquids in the blender jar.
  12. Avoid bumping or dropping the blender.
  13. ALWAYS TURN THE BLENDER OFF, WAIT UNTIL THE BLADES HAVE STOPPED SPINNING, AND UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE DISLODGING ANY FOOD THAT MAY HAVE GOTTEN STUCK.
