Questions and answers
Why won't my device show as available network
The Memorex MWD38 may not show as an available network for the following reasons:
1. Incorrect Power Connection – The device must be powered using the included USB power cord and Wi-Fi attachment. Without them, it cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
2. Wi-Fi Frequency Issue – The device only works on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi frequency. If the network is set to 5GHz, it will not appear.
3. Previous Connection – The device may already be connected to another mobile device. Disable AirPlay, Smart View, or Miracast on other devices and try again.
4. Device Reset Needed – If there are connection issues, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the device.
5. Interference – Other wireless devices or physical obstructions may cause interference. Try relocating the device or adjusting the Wi-Fi router settings.
