Enable Wi-Fi Access Point Mode on NGR-30-5

Introduction

This application note describes how to enable Wi-Fi in Access Point mode on the EpiSensor NGR-30-5 Gateway,
which will allow clients (laptops, mobile phones, etc.) to connect to the Gateway and access the EpiSensor web
interface. An SSH client and basic knowledge of the VI command line text editor is needed.
To connect the Gateway to an existing Wi-Fi access point as a client, see page 55 of the user manual for the Dell
Edge Gateway 3002 ​

Power on the Gateway

Take the included Power over Ethernet adapter out of the box and connect it to the Gateway as per the following
photo:
If the version of the Gateway that you have ordered doesn't include a power supply, you'll need to connect it to a
12 or 24V supply. For more information, see Dell's user guide for the Edge Gateway 3002 ​
