    ENGINE ZONE CONTROL ACAUTION: Federal regulations require an engine control to be installed on this lawn mower in order to minimize the risk of blade contact injury. Do not under any circumstances attempt to defeat the function of the operator control.

    • Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot come in contact with spark plug. • Turn lawn mower on its side. Make sure air filter and carburetor are up. • Use a wood block between blade and mower housing to prevent blade from turning when removing blade bolt.
