OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: The air purifier is shipped with the filter stored in the filter compartment.
The filter is shipped in a bag to prevent degradation. Before using, remove and discard bag.
Note: Proper filter and front panel installation is necessary for unit to turn on and run.
BEFORE OPERATING THE AIR PURIFIER:
1. Select a firm, level and flat location for the air purifier.
• For proper air flow, locate the unit at least 1 foot from any wall or furniture.
• Make sure none of the grills are blocked.
2. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
3. When moving the air purifier, always lift it by the carrying handle.
OPERATING THE AIR PURIFIER:
1. Turn unit power ON by pressing the control on the top of the unit.
Note: The purifier will not work if the front panel is not closed. The first time the unit
is plugged in and power on, the air quality sensor will take a few minutes to calibrate.
2. Select Fan Speed or Turbo
Fan: Mode 1, 2, 3
Turbo Speed - Maximum Airflow & Allergen Control
3. Timer - If you prefer to run the purifier for a specific number of hours. Press timer
control to select hours – up to 12 hours. After selected, the display will refresh to the
main display. To cancel timer: hold the timer button for 5 seconds.
4. Sleep Mode - Press to dim display lights. When selected, the lights will dim and the
air purifier will run in low speed. Press any control to exit from sleep mode.
5. Ionizer - Press to turn on ozone-safe ionizer function. The Ionizer can enhance
ability to remove particles and keep the air fresh. Press again to turn off.
6. Auto Mode - Press to select Auto Mode and the display will show "A". When in "Auto"
the fan speed will change depending on the air quality level in the room. See AQM below.
Optical Sensing in "Auto" mode: when the room is dark for over 1 minute, the unit will
enter into sleep mode automatically (low fan speed, dim display). When the sensor
detects the room is light, the unit will restore to standard Auto mode after 30 seconds.
7. Child Lock - Press and hold for 3 seconds to lock control panel so controls cannot be
adjusted. Press and hold for 3 seconds again to turn feature off.
8. Filter Change Indicator flashes to indicate it is time to change the filter. Replace the filter
according to instructions (Pg. E-7). Press and hold Filter Control to reset the reminder.
Hold Filter Control reset down for approximately 8 seconds, the unit will beep before
flashing indicator stops.
Air Quality Monitor (AQM): detects the amount of particulate matter (PM2.5) in the air. The light bar
under the display is the AQM indicator and it will change colors, indicating the air quality level in the
room. The particulate matter value will be displayed on the control panel. See values and status
ranges in chart below.
Below are the color values that can be displayed and the fan speed "AUTO" mode will
automatically select.
