Installing the
Litter-Robot 4
OdorTrap® Holder
Using the Odor Trap Holder, Litter-Robot 4 can be
®
equipped with up to (3) OdorTrap
installed on the outer bottom area of the globe. The
packs sit directly over the waste drawer to eliminate
odours. (Odor Trap Packs are sold separately and not
®
required for the unit to function. We recommend
replacing Odor Trap Packs every 2-4 weeks for opti-
®
mal performance.)

Make sure the unit is in the Home/Ready
position. Press and hold the Cycle and Empty
buttons on the Litter-Robot 4 control panel for 3
seconds, or tap "Replace Filter· under Controls
in the Whisker app.

Remove the filter cover: Lift the small notch to
release the filter cover snaps from the globe.
Set aside the filter cover.

Place the opened Odor Trap ® Holder on the
filter cover. The centre arrow on the OdorTrap
Holder must line up with the small dot on the
centre of the filter cover.

Secure the Odor Trap ® Packs by closing the
Odor Trap Holder (snap the side clips closed).

Press the Cycle or Reset button to resume the
clean cycle; when the clean cycle has ended,
press the Reset button to zero the weight
sensors.
Packs that are

A clean cycle will begin. The cycle will pause
when the globe reaches the position where
customers are able to access the filter pocket.

Remove the carbon filter (if installed) and
prepare to install the OdorTrap
e

Flip the filter cover over and snap the two outer
pieces of the Odor Trap
®
cover. Then snap the two inner pieces of the
Odor Trap Holder into the filter cover.
®

Replace the filter cover in the filter pocket on
the globe with the OdorTrap
down. Make sure the filter cover is completely
flush with the globe to prevent obstruction
while the globe rotates.
O
Open the bonnet: Press and hold the latches on
both sides of the bonnet, then lift and rotate the
bonnet to its open position to reveal the filter
pocket.
O
Open the Odor Trap
Holder.
® two (2) side clips.
O
Place up to (3) Odor Trap• Packs inside the
Holder into the filter
® OdorTrap• Holder.
O
Close the bonnet: Rotate the bonnet downward
Holder facing
® over the globe and push down on the bonnet
from the top to make sure it is latched and
secure.
