Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
·
Shut off the water supply.
·
Seat post holes are on 140mm (5-1/2") centers.
·
Ensure that the new drain has the correct roughing-in
dimension. This toilet has a 305mm (12") roughing-in
dimension.
See Roughing-in
·
Closet flange must be 305mm (12") on-center from wall.
·
Carefully inspect the new fixture for any sign of damage.
·
For new construction, refer to the dimensions in
Installation step
for locating the shut-off valve.
·
Fixture dimensions are nominal and conform to tolerances
established by ASME Standards (A112.19.2-2003).
WARNING: Risk of personal injury or product
damage
: Handle vitreous china products very carefully.
Vitreous china can break and chip if you overtighten
bolts and nuts.
WARNING: Risk of external leakage
nut has been factory-tightened to design specifications.
If re-tightening is required, wrench tighten one turn
past finger tight .
IMPORTANT! Make sure the supply pressure is
a minimum of 35 psi (2.5 kg/cm ). The toilet will
not function properly without minimum Pressure.

- Page 4 Insert new T-bolts. Install the wax seal. If installation of the new toilet is delayed, temporarily cover the closet flange hole with a rag. T-Bolts Closet Flange Wax Seal Apply weight evenly. Install floor mounting kit as shown in the figure. Do not overtighten.
- Page 5 Install the tank Connect supply and turn on the water. Install the bolts into the bracket and tighten evenly. Do not overtighten! Mounting Bracket tabs must contact vitreous for proper gasket compression. Bolt Bracket 10mm Supply Alimentation 10mm Flush several times and check for leaks. Turn here to adjust the water level if necessary.

Kohler will not be responsible for any damage because of using cement. WARNING: Risk of product damage. Do not throw into the toilet what is easy to block it, such as newspaper, paper pilch, sanitary towel.
