The John Lewis Arietta radio may turn itself off at 12.10pm if a sleep timer or alarm has been set to do so. If a sleep timer was activated while the radio was playing, it would automatically power down after the selected time. Additionally, if an alarm was set and not canceled, the radio could switch to standby after the alarm sounds.

To update the software on the John Lewis ARIETTA, go to the system settings menu and select "Software update." The radio must be in a corresponding mode that receives data (such as DAB) for the update to work. If you choose "No update," you will be prompted to set the time and date manually.

My Arietta is paired with my phone. I have unpaired from the phone as I have just replaced the battery causing the disconnect. Arietta still says <> but it isn't. I think I need to unpair from Arietta but there isn't that option in the normal menu.

To unpair your John Lewis Arietta from Bluetooth, you can try the following steps:
1. Turn Off Bluetooth on the Connected Device – Disable Bluetooth on your phone or other connected device to break the connection. 2. Switch Audio Source – Press the 'Source' button on the radio and select a different audio mode such as DAB or FM. 3. Restart the Radio – Turn the radio off and on again by pressing and holding the power button. 4. Reset the Radio – If the connection persists, check if there is a reset option in the menu or unplug the radio for a few minutes to reset its settings.
If the device automatically reconnects, remove or forget the "Arietta" entry from your Bluetooth device list before attempting to pair again.
