PARTS IDENTIFICATION

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Read all instructions and important safeguards.
2. Remove all packaging materials and check that all items have been received in good condition.
3. Tear up all plastic bags as they can pose a risk to children.
4. Wash the Drinking Lid, Blending Jar, and Blending Lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. Wipe the WattsUp!™ body clean with a damp cloth.

NOTE

• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Do not immerse the blender base, cord or plug in water at any time.

TO BLEND

1. Add ingredients into the Blending Jar.
   
2. Tightly screw the Blending Lid clockwise onto the Blending Jar.
   
3. Insert the Blending Jar into the base. Be sure to line up the arrow on the Blending Lid with the arrow on the base.
   
4. Lock the Blending Jar in place by twisting it clockwise.
   

Helpful Hints

• The blender will not operate if the Blending Jar is not inserted into the base correctly.
• Do not chop or process hard foods such as cheese, crackers, or meat.
• The maximum capacity of Blending Jar is 20 oz.
• A maximum of 12 tablespoons of coff ee beans can be ground at a time.
• If ingredients stick to the sides of the jar, remove the lid and use a rubber spatula to push the mixture toward the blades.

5. Press and hold the Pulse Switch to start blending, and release to stop. Hold the Blending Jar in place while blending.
   
6. Unlock the Blending Jar by twisting it counter-clockwise and remove from base.
   
7. Remove the Blending Lid and replace with Drinking Lid for easy accessibility.
   

Helpful Hints

• Do not process hot foods or liquids in the blender.
• Do not store food or liquids in the blender jar.
• Avoid bumping or dropping the blender.
• If blending ice or frozen foods, liquid will need to be added.

TO CLEAN

Always unplug the WattsUp!™ blender from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

1. Disconnect the power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug or base in any liquid.
   
2. Wash the Blending Jar, Drinking Lid, and Blending Lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
   
3. Wipe the blender base, control panel, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge.
   
4. Make sure the power cord and plug are thoroughly dry before plugging back in.
   

NOTE

• If desired, Blending Jar and Drinking Lid may be washed on the top rack of dishwasher.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Do not immerse the blender base, cord or plug in water at any time.
