Activates the vacuum seal or deactivates the seal to begin releasing air.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Read allinstructions and important safeguards.
- Remove all packaging materials and check that all items have been received in good condition. Inspect the container for any chips or cracks.
- Tear up all plastic bags and dispose of properly as they can pose a risk fo children.
- Thelid contains the host electrical circuit and cannot be immersed in water. To clean, use a damp cloth.
- Wash the container in warm, soapy water and allow it dry thoroughly.
- To charge the container for use, see "To Charge".
TROUBLESHOOTING
- The container vacuum is applying pressure for more than 3 minutes and the indicator light quickly flashes orange.
Air leakage is occurring, Check the seal ring to assure it is installed correctly and sitting flat atop
the container, Additionally, there might be debris found on the seal ring, Remove the seal ring to clean thoroughly then replace it on top of the container securely, - The container will not open after deflation is complete.
There has been insufficient air intake in the vacuum box and the lid is still under negative pressure. Press the self-locking knob down and allow the container to further deflate. If the air intake is still insufficient, repeat the process. - No internal pressure is occurring after pressing the Power button.
The lid has been opened for more than 8 minutes and the appliance has been automatically shut down. Press the Power button to turn on.
Note:
Any other servicing should be performed by Aroma Housewares.
To Clean
- Empty the container of all food and debris.
- Clean the lid by using a damp cloth. Do not immerse the lid in water.
- Hand wash the container in warm, soapy water and allow it to dry thoroughly.
- Reassemble for next use.
Note:
- Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the press and its accessories.
- The appliance cannot be used during the charging process.
To Charge
- Place the appliance on a dry, flat, non-slip surface.
- Connect the end of the charging cord with the 2-pin connector to the magnetic interface on the top Of the lid and then insert the IJSB into an available USB power adapter.
- During the charging process, the indicator light on the top of the lid will illuminate red. When fully charged and ready for use, the indicator light will change to white.
- Before storing, be sure to fully charge the container using the provided USB cord. The container should take 3-5 hours to reach full charge.
- If using the product infrequently, charge once every 20 days. If using frequently, charge once every 10 days.
To Store
- Place food to be stored into the container and securely place the lid on top Of the container.
- Press the self-locking knob on the center of the lid down.
- Press the Powerbutton to turn on the appliance. The indicator light will illuminate white in a slow pulsating pattern.
- As the container begins to vacuum seal, the white pulsating indicator light will begin flashing faster. This insulating process lasts for about 3 minutes.
- Once the container has reached its maximum pressure, the container will automatically stop applying pressure and the indicator light will pulsate blue.
- The container will now begin releasing air to reach its optimal balanced pressure. Once reached, the appliance will enter low-power standby mode and the indicator light will turn off.
To Retrieve Food
- Press the self-locking knob in the center of the lid down.
- Pressure will begin to release from the container, and the indicator light will flash white,
- While the vacuum is releasing you will hear a hissing sound.
- After about 20 seconds, the container will have achieved balanced pressure.
- The lid is now able to be safely removed.
Note:
- The appliance will automatically adjust its internal air pressure when external changes in air pressure or temperature occur.
- If no operations are performed within 3 minutes of pressing the self-locking knob down, the appliance will automatically enter low-power standby mode.
