keyboard
3200501RF – ErgoTight Pro compact RF wireless- US
:
This product can be used wirelessly from the box by plugging the included RF dongle into the USB
port of your PC or laptop. The included USB cable is your charging cable for the rechargeable battery,
which is built into the keyboard.
Before using your ErgoTight Pro Design ultra-slim wireless compact keyboard for the first time, you
must charge it for at least 24 hours with the USB cable. When charging the keyboard, the dongle
must be plugged into your PC or laptop.
Charging can be done by plugging the supplied USB cable directly into your PC or laptop, or by
plugging in a USB plug into the socket (this is not included).
Before you start using the keyboard, there are a few more options that may come in handy when
using the keyboard.
As you can see at the bottom left of the keyboard, it contains a blue Fn button. This button allows
you to use the other blue colored keys by pressing them simultaneously.
For example, pressing Fn and P at the same time gives you the hyphen "-".
You can also use the ErgoTight integrated numeric, which is possible in combination with the Fn
button. This can be done by pressing the Fn button simultaneously with one of the blue keys.
The ErgoTight also has a CAPS LOCK mode. If this is enabled, all letters will be typed in uppercase
until the CAPS LOCK is turned off again. The SCROLL LOCK provides a second function of the arrow
keys. With the function on you can move through the field with the cursor using the arrow keys until
it is turned off. Then it functions like scrolling the page within the window.
When scroll lock is on, the function of the arrow keys is to scroll the content of a text window. In this
sense, scroll lock has an equivalent function to the Num Lock and the Caps Lock: it enables a second
functionality of a number of keys.
The keyboard also has 2 indicators, which can be found at the top right of the keyboard. The left
lamp indicates that the keyboard is empty or if it is on the charger, is charged. The right lamp
indicates that the keyboard is correctly connected to the charger.
Furthermore, the content of the box contains a small black connector, with which you can connect
the keyboard to the numeric.
