Broadband Internet Connection

By connecting this player to the Internet, you can enjoy a variety of content
on your TV using BD-LIVE functions, video on-demand services (e-Contents),
home networks and also perform software updates. In this player, the Internet
connection can be made using either one of the following methods.

• Wired connection (LAN cable)

• Wireless connection (wireless LAN) (See page 19.)
NOTE
• Be sure to turn off this Player and the equipment before making any connections.
• When an Internet connection is made, wired and wireless connections cannot be used
at the same time. Use only one of the connection types (See page 46).
CAUTION
• When using a broadband Internet connection, a contract with an Internet service
provider is required. For more details, contact your nearest Internet service provider.
• Refer to the operation manual of the equipment you have as the connected equipment
and connection method may differ depending on your Internet environment.

Wired connection (LAN cable)
Connect a LAN cable (commercially available) to the ETHERNET terminal of this
player (1) and the LAN port of the broadband router (2).

• Use a LAN cable/router supporting 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX.
• SHARP cannot guarantee that all brands' broadband routers will operate with this
player.

• To play back files via the Home Network, see page 34.
