  • Page 7 Machine description The virtual pinball machine is a hardware system consisting of an assembly of multiple displays, lighting systems, sound systems and moving force-feedback components. One player can play the machine at the same time by pressing a few buttons, which influences the course of the game.
  • Page 8 The virtual pinball machine is a “hardware shell” without its own software that serves as an extension for later installation of open source pinball software and systems that are freely and often freely available through third parties. The machine is intended for home entertainment use and is not designed or intended for commercial use.
  • Page 9 Your pinball machine is equipped as standard with connections and cabling for all conceivable upgrades. It may therefore happen that you find loose or unconnected cables, switches and/or machine parts in the machine. This is normal. INsafety warning The machine weighs over 170 kilograms. The weight is distributed over 4 small adjustable feet.

  • Page 11 If present, turn on the main switch at the bottom of the machine. This is located in a concealed switch panel in the bottom plate of the cabinet. (note: not every cabinet configuration is equipped with a 2nd main switch) Wait until the machine has started completely and the Windows software and any flipper software are active.
  • Page 12 Operation buttons on the side of the machine After the machine has been fully started, the user can control or influence the game using various buttons on the cabinet. Please note: Buttons are assigned their function from the selected game. In each game, 1 or more buttons can therefore have a different function as determined by the maker of the respective game.
  • Page 13 Operation buttons at the front of the machine START : starts the selected game or confirms a selection COIN : Simulates a coin insert and adds credits to the selected playing field. MUNTINWORP : add a credit to the selected playing field when a coin is inserted.
  • Page 14 Operation buttons inside the machine There are a few more buttons behind the coin slot door. To operate these buttons, the metal door of the coin insert must be opened with the supplied key. electrocution hazard Inside the machine there are parts that carry electrical current. Always remove the plug from the socket before opening access doors and panels to avoid the risk of electrocution.
  • Page 15 volume controls audible audio: In the front of the cupboard behind the coin insert there is an audio amplifier with several knobs for volume and bass, among other things. Do not set the bass tones for the sub-woofer too loudly. Subwoofers can be damaged by excessive vibrations.
  • Page 16 Switch off the machine Failure to follow the correct procedure for switching off the machine can cause immediate damage or malfunctions to the system and/or can result in software malfunctions. These faults are not covered by the warranty! Depending on the cabinet version, the pinball machine is equipped with a hardware “soft-exit”...
  • Page 17 Taking the machine out of service Wait until the software has finished shutting down and the video screens change color periodically (screen saver). Turn off the switch on the back of the machine. Remove the plug from the socket so that the power supply to the machine is completely interrupted.
  • Page 18 The coin acceptor in your machine is either empty or has already been trained on Madeforarcade coins. If the coin acceptor is empty and the machine is not set to free play, a sample coin must first be placed in the coin acceptor.
  • Page 19 Cleaning the glass plate / monitor window The playing field is a high-resolution monitor that can be statically charged and therefore attracts dust and dirt. From time to time, dust can collect under the playing field window. To remove and clean the window: Remove the lock bar by sliding the lever inside the coin to the left Now carefully pull the lockbar upwards and remove it.

    Why doesn't my pinball machine respond as I expect? Everything, absolutely everything from friction between ball and base plate, gravity, ball weight, speed, randomness and hundreds of other things are determined by the game programmer in software. The pinball machine itself only responds to what the software commands.
