Winter Mode/Summer Mode / Manual mode
Press button M to select Winter mode / Summer mode /Manual mode
Winter mode and summer mode belongs to Auto mode.
Auto mode: on LCD , there will be an " Auto " displaying on left bottom side,
controller will adjust the fan speed automatically according to temperature conditions.
Manual mode: on LCD , there will be a hand icon displaying on left bottom side, user
can ajust the fan speed manually by
user may select 6 grades of fan speed:
lowest
Set temperature in Auto mode
Press button or button once, you will see set temperature
flashing. Use button or button again to adjust to the
temperature you want your room to maintain. Press button
and exit. HEX390 Heat Exchange unit
Resetting factory defaults
Your controller has the ability to reset all settings to the factory defaults. If you
are certain you want to do this:
In standby mode(when controller is turned off), press and hold button
for 5 seconds until RES is shown on LCD.
Lock /Unlock the buttons
To lock/unlock the buttons, press and hold the buttons
Winter mode(Warmup mode)
If the room temperature is cooler than the roof space temperature
then the system will enter winter mode and bring warmer air from the roof space
into the home. If roof space temp drops below 16°C, the fan speed will drop to trickle.
Summer mode(Ventilation mode)
If the room temperature is higher than the roof temperature, the fan speed will enter
summer mode, The fan will operate at mid speed unless roof space temp reaches
25 °C or higher when the fan will drop to trickle speed.

Installation and Mounting
Carefully separate the front half of the thermostat from the back plate by placing a
small flat head terminal driver into the slots on the bottom face of the thermostat.
Carefully unplug the ribbon connector which is plugged in to the front half of the thermostat.
Place the thermostat front half somewhere safe. Terminate the diagrams below.
Screw the thermostat back plate on to the back box.
Re-connect the thermostat ribbon cable and clip the two halves together.
