Use a USB-C cable You can use a USB-C cable with a power source that is capable of Power Delivery (USB-PD). The power source must be capable of providing 15V/2A. Use a PoE cable Ensure that your switch is PoE enabled. The Edge Hub was developed according to the standard for PoE 802.3bt (PoE++) and requires 40W. -

Perform a factory reset on your Splunk Edge Hub Complete these steps to reset the device to its original factory settings. This doesn't unregister your Splunk Edge Hub. The following image displays the location of the hardware reset pinhole: On your Splunk Edge Hub, locate the reset pinhole. Depending on your version of the hardware, the pinhole may be on the front of the device or next to the USB and external sensor ports.
