It utilizes a pseudo binocular design for added observation convenience. It has a built-in I R light source for complete darkness conditions. It is an exceptional choice for hands free (head-mounted and helmet-mounted) usage and ca n take either CR123 lithium battery or AA battery to power this unit without any other accessories.
