SETTING UP ТНЕ SHREDDER

Connect the power cord to а standard 120V АС power outlet. The unit is now ready for use. The power cord should Ье plugged directly into the outlet and not used in conjunction with а power extension cord. This shredder has very sharp exposed steel Ыades оп the underside of the cutter carriage. Do not attempt to remove jam or allow fingers to come in contact as bodily injury may occur.

Unplug the unit from the outlet before removing the cutter carriage from the waste receptacle portion of the unit.

USING YOUR SHREDDER

Move switch to AUTO position.
lnsert paper into paper slot, or one credit card into credit card slot, or one optical disc (CD/DVD) in to optical disc slot.

Do NOT insert more than 1О sheet paper, 1 disc or 1 credit card at а time.

USING YOUR SHREDDER

READY	Lights up green when the shredder is turned оп and ready to shred.
AUTO"I"	This setting allows the shredder to start automatically when an item is inserted into the feed slot. When the paper/credit card/CD/DVD has passed through the slot, the shredder will stop. Never attempt to shred sealed envelopes, doing so may damage the shredder. Always remove and unfold envelope contents completely before attempting to shred. Always feed paper in as straight as possiЫe. lnset по more than ten sheets of paper or one credit card or one optical disk at а time.
REV"<<"	Use the reverse setting to clear а paper jam or to pull out un-shredded paper. Never try to clear а jam Ьу using REV when the wastebasket is full. This could further jam the unit.
OFF "О"	This setting turns off the shredder. For safety reasons, leave the shredder in the OFF position whenever the shredder is unattended or not in use.
DOOROPEN	Lights yellow if shredder wastebasket is open or incorrectly mounted.
OVERHEAT	Lights red when shredder has been running for too long. Unplug the unit from the outlet and allow the unit to cool for а minimum of 20 minutes. After time period has passed, plug the unit back in and resume shredding.
OVERLOAD	Lights orange when shred capacity has been exceeded and shredder is jammed.
