Overview and Assembly

1. Locking handle
2. Washer
3. Hex screws
4. Threaded stud
Place the washer over the
threaded stud. Then screw
on the locking handle.
Note: The screws are designed
to protrude from the holes by
approximately 0.4 inches (10 mm).
Do not try to tighten them
beyond that point.

Mounting the Counterweight

Attach the boom arm to a light stand.
Slide the counterweight onto the
end of the boom arm and tighten
the locking handle until secure.
Important! Always support your equipment with one hand when
adjusting the position of the counterweight.
