DESCRIPTION The FM42 is powered by a 9Hp Honda petrol engine complete with electric start. The flails are free floating on a chain link to the rotor shaft. The tow bar has two operating positions, one in the centre of the machine and the other to one side where it is beneficial not to run on the standing growth before cutting.
Pull the manual start cord to make sure the cutting rotor is free. If applicable, clear the rotor until the machine is free. If the rotor is free, use the key-start. If in doubt, please call the SCH customer help line at 01473 328272.
