Infant Swing 120020
Take time to familiarize yourself with the use and maintenance of this equipment before using. Please file this
Instruction Sheet in an accessible location: the Instruction Sheet must be read and familiar to anyone who is
using Southpaw Enterprises Equipment.
IMPORTANT: Please check equipment immediately for any damage
that may have resulted during shipping. If any damage has occurred,
please contact Southpaw Enterprises, Inc. immediately.

MATERIALS LIST:

1 - Infant Swing w/Safety Snap
1 - Instruction Sheet

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

To use the Southpaw Infant Swing, attach the Southpaw Safety Snap (included) to your suspension point. A Southpaw
Height Adjuster System (# 410001) may be needed to adjust the swing to the proper height for your client. A Southpaw
Safety Rotational Device (# 2000) must be used for any rotational activity.
CHECK TO BE SURE THAT SEAT BUCKLES UNDER WOOD FRAME ARE FASTENED SECURELY.
POSITION CLIENT IN SWING FACING THE STRAIGHT EDGE SIDE OF THE SWING.
DO NOT LEAVE CLIENT UNATTENDED IN SWING.
SPACE REQUIREMENTS: Use caution to keep a minimum of 6 foot clear distance from walls and other obstacles.

MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST:

All of the following wear points should be checked on a monthly basis and recorded on the checklist enclosed.
Check the Safety Snap for wear. (See Safety Snap Instruction Sheet).
Check ropes for fraying and loose or missing splice locks.* If loose or missing splice locks are found, discontinue use
until repaired.
Check wood for cracks or splinters. If cracked, discontinue use. For splinters, sand until smooth.
Check edge padding to see that it is securely attached.
* A splice lock is the metal clip near the end of the ropes.
Check seams for loose or missing stitches. If loose or missing stitches are found, discontinue use until repaired.

MATTING PRECAUTIONS:

Always use appropriate matting.
Crash mats and wall mats must be used with all hanging equipment.

STORAGE PROCEDURES:

Store out of direct sunlight.
Store where not accessible by clients without proper supervision.

Failure to properly install a forged
steel eyebolt (1/2" or 5/8") may result in serious
