    Parallel connectivity The UPMOD - 3L upCentric is equipped with parallel connectivity. This feature allows you to connect two desks together and operate them as one desk. A Y-splitter cable is required to enable this. Important information • Always make sure all screws are tightened before use of the desk and after moving or transporting.

  • Page 10: Preparing The Tabletop

    Preparing the tabletop Step 1: Lay protective matting/sheet on floor or work surface. Step 2: Carefully place desk down on work surface with the decorative laminate facing down and brown surface facing up. Step 3: If using a tabletop consisting of two or more pieces, connect your tabletop sections together at the edges using Tabletop Attachment Plates.
  • Page 11 Step 2: Attach center leg frame brackets ( I ) and ( Y ) to center leg ( Q ) using 2x socket screws ( F ). Step 3: Insert end bracket ( M ) into ends of center leg frame brackets and fasten in place with 2x socket screws ( F ).
  • Page 12 You have now completed the center leg assembly ( W ). Open Box A ( the larger box ) and remove all of the contents. Step 5: Fold out both legs of the frame ( R ), unclip the leg wires from the wire clips in the frame, then separate the frame into two sections.
  • Page 13 Step 7: On top of work surface, insert inner support bars from frame section ( R2 ) into the open ends of the center leg assemble brackets, then adjust and position frame to roughly line up with pilot holes. Note: If B dimension is less than 55", skip Step 8 and discard inner support bars ( S ).
  • Page 14 Step 9: Adjust entire frame so that the 3x end brackets ( M ) are all aligned with the pilot holes, then lock inner support bars in place by tightening all set screws ( C ). Note: If you do not have pilot holes, the frame should be positioned so that ( R1 ) and ( R2 ) are centered front to back on the surface, and 1-2"...
  • Page 15 Step 11: Plug handset ( L ) into H port on control box, then run handset cable under frame through inlet hole and place in desired location along any edge. Step 12: Make sure no wires are pinched between the frame and work surface, then attach frame to work surface using 24x wood screws ( B ) into pilot holes.
  • Page 16 Step 13: Install handset ( L ) onto worksurface anywhere along the edge using 2x handset screws ( P ). Step 14: Use provided cable straps ( H ) to secure any loose cables. Step 15: Install small round caps ( O ) and rectangular caps ( T ) on exposed holes on frame.

    Getting started The first time a desk is assembled, the legs must be synchronized before use. How to synchronize Press and hold the up/down buttons on the handset at the same time for 3-5 seconds, both legs will begin to lower. Continue holding the buttons until both legs reach the lowest position.

    Switching between metric and imperial units Press memory buttons ❶ ❷ and ❹ for 5 seconds. The handset display will show “C-I”. c - i For metric: Press ❷, the handset display will show “C” for centimeters. For imperial: Press ❸, the handset display will show “I” for inches. Note: Imperial units (inches) are the default UOM.
  • Page 21 Synchronize desk legs Prior to performing any troubleshooting, perform a re-synchronization. On occasion, the desk may require a re-sync for a variety of reasons. This is normal. • Ensure there are no obstructions for the desk to move vertically. • Press and hold at the same time.
  • Page 22 • A 3-Leg main frame ( Box 1 ) was sent in error instead of a 2-Leg frame. • Contact ergoCentric to have the correct frame box sent out. Issue: Cords to handset are too short • Request extension cords from ergoCentric.
  • Page 23 Issue: Wires are damaged • Document the damage and request new AC cable, handset, or leg as required. Issue: Handset and control box are not working • Unplug everything from control box for 10 seconds, then plug back in. • Perform re-sync ( see page 16 ).

    In no event shall ergoCentric be liable in either tort or contract for any loss or direct, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages. This warranty is based on the use during an eight hour work day.

    Warranty claims ergoCentric will repair or replace any product or materials, covered by this warranty, found to be defective or inferior within the warranted period. This warranty includes the cost of labour and shipping. Claims are to be made directly to ergoCentric or to the authorized representative from whom the product was purchased.

    Préparation du plateau de table Étape 1 : Placez un tapis ou une couverture de protection sur le sol ou sur la surface de travail. Étape 2 : Déposez soigneusement le plateau à l’envers, face stratifiée décorative vers le bas et face brune vers le haut, sur la surface de travail.
