FUNCTIONS & FEATURES

This unit comes preloaded with 75 different animal sound files to play from, plus a remote control unit that allows for remote use up to 300' direct line of sight.
FUNCTIONS & FEATURES

OVERVIEW

BATTERIES

  • Game Caller - ‐ (4) AAA – not included
    • Unscrew the battery compartment cover off.
    • Install/Remove batteries from compartment.
    • Place batteries in the proper order to avoid damaging the unit.
    • Screw the battery compartment cover on.
  • Remote Control – (1) CR2025 Lithium – not included
    • Remove the four screws from the back of the remote.
    • Carefully removed cover.
    • Replace battery correctly "+" Up / "- ‐" Down to avoid damaging the remote.
    • Carefully replace cover and replace the screws.

BUTTONS

  • Power button
    • Hold for 1.5 seconds to turn caller ON.
    • Hold for 1.5 seconds to turn caller OFF.
  • Mode/Back button
    • Press "Mode" to toggle to the Main Screen, Sound Selection and Settings.
  • Volume – Left & Right Arrows (Default – 50%)
    • The volume buttons will allow the user to adjust the volume in playback/normal mode.
  • Scroll – Up & Down Arrows
    • The scroll buttons will allow the user to scroll through items shown on the screen.
  • Enter Button
    • The enter button is used to confirm a selection when scrolling through animal categories or sounds. It is also used to select or toggle ON/OFF the "Repeat", "Auto- ‐Backlight", and "Remote" functions.
  • Play/Stop Button
    • Located on the underside of the unit.
    • In "Play Back" mode, when pressed, the currently selected sound will be played one time.
    • If the "Repeat" setting is turned on, the caller will continuously playback the selected sound when the Play/Stop button has been pressed.
    • Press again to stop the play back.
  • Play Button (Remote)
    • In "Play Back" mode, when pressed the currently selected sound will be played one time.
    • If the "Repeat" setting is turned on, the caller will continuously playback the selected sound when the Play button has been pressed.
  • Stop Button (Remote)
    • To stop the playback.

MAIN SCREEN
This is the main screen of the unit that the user will use most of the time. In this screen the user can:

  • Play a sound file – Play Button
  • Adjust the volume – Volume Buttons
  • Select a sound to play – Scroll Buttons
  • Change to a different screen – Mode Button

There will be four icons in the bottom of the screen. Those icons are used to display the state of the settings:

  • Battery level
  • Remote
  • Repeat and repeat delay
  • Sound level

CATEGORY SCREEN
In this screen the user can select the category group of sound files that will be displayed & played in the main screen.

  • When this screen is entered from the Main Screen, the heading "CATEGORY" will display on the screen followed by the categories of sound files.
  • The Scroll buttons are used to scroll up and down between the different categories and sounds.
  • Pressing the Enter button will take you into that category of sounds.
  • Pressing the Mode/Back button will take the user to the Settings.

SETTING SCREEN

  • Repeat (Default – OFF)
    • When turned ON, it will repeat the call over and over again.
    • When the unit plays while the repeat is turned OFF, the game call will play 1 time only.
  • Repeat Delay (Default – NONE)
    This function sets the length of delay between the calls being repeated.
    • o The options are:
      • None
      • 2 seconds
      • 5 seconds
      • Random
        Note: (Random will be either 2 or 5 seconds picked randomly.)
  • Auto- ‐Backlight (Default – ON)
    • When turned ON, the backlight will activate when a button is pressed (except for the Play/Stop button and remote control).
    • When turned off, the backlight won't be active.
  • Remote (Default – ON)
    This will toggle the remote function on and off.
    • Toggling off the remote function is meant to save battery life.
  • Handheld (Default – OFF)
    This will toggle the handheld function on and off.
    • Toggling off the handheld function is meant to save battery life.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

  • Start up
    • The unit will remember the last settings used; and will start up with these settings.
    • Otherwise it will use the default settings.
  • LCD Backlight
    • If auto- ‐backlight is set to "On", the green LED backlight will turn on for 10 seconds any time a button is pressed (except the Play/Stop button).
    • If a button (except the Play/Stop button and remote button) is pressed while the green LED backlight is on, the 10 second clock will reset.
    • The backlight will turn off 10 seconds after the last button press.
    • The Play/Stop button will never activate the LCD backlight.
  • Auto Power Off
    • If the remote function is set to ON, after 5 hours of no activity, the unit will automatically power OFF. The user must press the power button to play a sound.
    • If the remote function is set to OFF, after 30 minutes with no buttons being pressed, the unit will automatically power OFF. The user must press the power button to play a sound.
  • Audio Jack (For external speaker)
    • The 3.5mm jack will auto detect if the jack is being used or not.
    • When the 3.5mm jack is being used, there is NO audio playing from the internal speaker.
