oil
level before
operating
machine and consult your local ICC Mfg.
Co. dealer for repairs.
If for
any
reason the machine would need towed, i.e.
it
won't
start
and has
to
be winched on
to
a trailer, the final drives can be disengaged.
To disengage remove the
two
(2) bolts that hold the
center
cap on
to
the
gear box. Remove the cap and turn it over and reinstall, pushing the large
bump
into
the hub. Replace bolts. Remember
to
do both sides.
Brake System
a.
The brakes are activated by the brake switch on the dash, by
not
having the
seat belt on, or by the lack of charge pump pressure.
CAUTION:
Do
not
modify
this
safety
braking
system.
Unauthorized
modifications may impair the function and safety of the machine and
could cause personal injury or death.
In such
a
case where there
is
brake failure, please
contact your
local ICC
Mfg. Co. dealer for repairs.
If for any reason the brake line has been disconnected, i.e. replacing a

Track
Tension
a.
There
is
minimal
maintenance
required on the undercarriage.
The bottom rollers and front idlers are lubricated and sealed.
Track tension should be checked on a regular schedule as noted in item 2 of
this section.
Tightness of all hardware should be checked regularly. It is critical for
items such as drive sprocket mounting bolts and track pad bolts to be
torqued properly. Failure
to
do this will cause wear and damage
to
the
undercarriage and all related components.
A
visual
inspection
of
track
tension
should be done
periodically
throughout
the work day. To accurately check this
tension, lift the front idler off of the
ground approximately 9 inches. This can
be done with either the loader or dozer
attachment. At this
point
there should
be 2-3 inches of track
sag at
the middle
bottom rollers.
If the track tension needs adjustment,
add
multipurpose
grease
to
the
track
adjuster with a standard
grease gun
and
button
head
coupler.
Add
grease until
track
tension
meets
the
above
measurement. (FIG. 1)
