Step 2: Ladder Assembly Special application notes: To determine the length of the ladder required for one’s specific application: Measure from the center of the installed rail to the floor, then add 5” to the measurement. (It is recommended that the ladder rail sides and steps are sanded slightly with a 220 grit sand paper just prior to applying the finish (stain, paint, clear coat sealer) on the ladder.

Step 3: Double-Hook Hardware Installation Bottom Ladder Hardware (non-skid foot, non-rolling) 1. After the ladder is finished and assembled, take the non-skid foot and center it on the bottom of the ladder side rail (Figure 1) 2. Mark the location of the non-skid foot and measure the distance from the front edge of the ladder to the mark (Figure 2) 3.

Remove the upper guide from the ladder, lay the ladder down, measure from the tip of the ladder to the outlined mark where top of the upper guide is located and transfer this same measurement onto the other ladder side rail (the location of the upper guide on each of the ladder side rails should be the same) 5.
