SAFETY

• Please read these instructions carefully before using the Velform® Epilwiz for the first time. - Use the Velform® Epilwiz only for the purposes indicated in this instruction manual.
• Keep this instruction manual for future reference.- Keep your Velform® Epilwiz out of reach of children.
• This device may be used by children over the age of eight, by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, and by people without experience or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been given instructions on how to use the device safely, and they understand the risks involved.
• To avoid all risks, keep your Velform® Epilwiz switched off when not in use.
• Never charge the battery if the temperature is below 0°C. Use, charge and store the device at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C.
• Avoid charging the battery by exposing it to direct sunlight or near a heat source.
• Never charge the battery continuously for more than 48 hours.
• Keep your Velform® Epilwiz dry at all times. Do not store it in damp places or near containers of water. If the unit falls into water, do not touch it or use it again.
• Always use your Velform® Epilwiz on clean, dry skin that is free of all cosmetic products, including creams.
• Keep the Velform® Epilwiz away from eyelashes, hair and clothing during use.
• Do not use the Velform® Epilwiz if you have acne, moles, diabetes, eczema, haemophilia, immune deficiency, rosacea, varicose veins or sores, or when your skin is irritated or inflamed. Consult your doctor first.
• If you have a previous illness of any kind, consult your doctor before using the device.
• If you are fitted with a pacemaker, consult your doctor before using the device.
• If you have never removed your body hair or if you haven't done it for a long time, you may notice an itching sensation or discomfort after using the device. It will go away in subsequent sessions. You feel this sensation because the Velform® Epilwiz eliminates hair at the root.
• Because the Velform® Epilwiz removes hair at the root, some new hairs may become ingrown. In that case, we recommend massaging the area and washing it with a loofah sponge.
• Consult your doctor about any red patches or irritation that lasts for more than three days.
• Wipe down your Velform® Epilwiz before and after each use to prevent any bacteria from making contact with the skin and causing irritation.
• To remove hair in the bikini and underarm areas, we recommend exfoliating first to prevent ingrown hairs. If you have not removed hair in these areas for a long time, it's a good idea to trim or shave the area before the first session.

HOW TO CHARGE THE PRODUCT

Fully charge the device before using it for the first time or after a long period of disuse.

• Plug the USB end of the USB Cable (6) into a USB port on your computer as shown in Image A).
• Insert the other USB end of the USD Cable (6) into the mini USB port on the back of your Velform ® Epilwiz (5), as shown in Image B. And charge it. You can charge it by connecting it to a computer or USB charger.

The device takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes to fully charge; when fully charged, the Velform® Epilwiz has a battery life of 80 minutes.

When charging, a red light illuminates; when the battery is fully charged, the light turns green.

When the device is switched on, the green light on the bottom of the product (next to the USB cable connector) stays on.

When the battery is low (when the remaining battery is around 5%) the green light flashes, reminding you to charge the device.

NOTE: Velform® Epilwiz will automatically switch off when it detects low voltage (low voltage means less than 3.2V).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Charge the Velform ® Epilwiz completely.
2. When using your Velform® Epilwiz, make sure you pull the skin taut in the area you are working on to prevent discomfort.
3. Turn on your Velform® Epilwiz by sliding the on/off button upwards The led light will turn on.
4. It's not necessary to press down on the hair removal area.
5. To become familiar with the device, we recommend using it first on your chin.
6. Slide the Velform® Epilwiz across the skin against the direction of hair growth.
7. When you have finished using the appliance, slide the on/off switch down.
8. The accessory for sensitive areas (3) is for removing hair in delicate areas. When your goal is more in-depth hair removal or the area is not delicate, remove this accessory and use the Velform® Epilwiz with the head completely exposed. To remove the accessory for sensitive areas, just slide it up.
9. Carefully clean the hair removal head after each use (see the Cleaning section).
10. We recommend applying moisturizer to soothe the skin after hair removal.
11. When you remove hair for the first time, we recommend doing it in the evening so that any skin redness can go away during the night.

USEFUL TIPS

• Velform® Epilwiz can be used to remove hair on the upper lip, cheeks, chin and between the eyebrows.
• Velform® Epilwiz can be used to remove hair in and around the eyebrows, but never to shape the eyebrows.
• To remove hair on your legs, bikini line or underarms, the hair must be at least 5 mm long.
• Be very careful when removing hair on the upper lip. Pull the skin taut with your fingers.

CLEANING

1. Make sure that the Velform® Epilwiz is off before cleaning the device.
2. Remove the accessory for sensitive areas.
3. Use a cleaning brush to eliminate loose hairs.

To remove any traces of oil or grease, use cotton wool with just a few drops of alcohol. Do not saturate the cotton wool with alcohol.
