    Location and Function of Parts and Controls Indicator Section 1 Remote control detector Receives the signals from the Remote Commander. 2 POWER/STANDBY indicator Lights up in green when the display unit is powered on. Lights up in red in the standby mode. Lights up in orange when the display enters the power saving mode while a signal is input from a computer.

For details, contact your authorized Sony dealers. Note When an optional adaptor with communication function such as BKM-FW32 or BKM-FW50 is installed, you cannot use this connector.

    Connections Connections Before you start • First make sure that the power to each piece of equipment is turned off. • Use connecting cables suitable for the equipment to be connected. • The cable connectors should be fully inserted into the jacks.

    (Only for the FWD- 40LX1) Cable cover (bottom) Choose six out of eight holes on the FWD-32LX1R. Attach the cable holders in the illustration below. When you connect the speakers SS-SP40FW (not supplied), route the speaker cords through the speaker cord holders on the rear of the display unit.
