Make sure that the voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) indicated on the data plate inside the unit match those available at the installation site.

With the hood in operation, select the desired speed, then keep the TL button pressed for a few seconds until the speed LEDs (L1, L2, L3, L4) start flashing indefinitely until the hood auto-off setting.
