    These components must be electronically matched, programmed or paired before use. This is usually done at the Girard Systems factory. Should the need arise for the user to pair a device with the motor controller they must refer to the appropriate manual for the devices applicable to their particular installation.

    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The GC116I Anemometer is a 12v DC Remote module designed to operate in conjunction with all Girard Systems G-Link motor controllers. This device will send an All Channels Retract signal whenever the wind speed exceeds a pre-set value for longer than 3 seconds.

    SET UP AND PROGRAMMING The GC116I Anemometer must be programmed/matched/paired with whichever device controls the motor of the awning or awnings to be retracted in windy conditions. First ensure that there is power to the motor controller, and then fully extend the awning.

    PAIRING WITH A GC274A Locate and ensure access to the program button of the motor controller. In this case the lid of the 274A must be removed to gain access to the program button. STOP BUTTON PROGRAM BUTTON Note; when carrying out this part of the procedure each step must be executed within 10 seconds of the previous one or the module will revert to factory settings.

    PAIRING WITH A GC274B Locate and ensure access to the program button of the motor controller. In this case the middle and right buttons must be pressed and held untill the Green LED begins to flash. STOP PROGRAM Note; when carrying out this part of the procedure each step must be executed within 10 seconds of the previous one or the module will revert to factory settings.
