Rear Panel and Connections:
Power entry module – center.
Binding posts – Right and Left, marked '+' and '-'.
Three sets of RCA inputs, labeled 'CD', 'L1', 'L2'.
One set of XLR inputs, labeled 'L3'.
One set of RCA HT/BP – Home Theater Bypass (Also function as Preamp Inputs).
One set of RCA preamp outputs. Input source selected is always present at RCA preamp
outputs and may be used to drive a second or different amplifier.
Cover plate may be removed when optional Phono is installed.
Vacuum Tube Installation
Location: in blue sub-enclosure, in the rear, center of the top of the amp.
Basis of design is 6922/ECC88. Suitable subs include 6dj8 and 7309
Line up tube with 9-pin socket and firmly but gently push down on the tube until it seats.
If the tube does not fully seat in the socket, remove and check to see if any pins are bent.
Tubes are self-bias and require no adjustment or maintenance.
Installation in rack or cabinet and required clearance
Min. 2" in all directions required for adequate ventilation, top, sides and rear.
Do not install in an enclosed cabinet unless temperature controlled.
Heat sinks must reject heat and as such should never be blocked or covered.
Do not install gear on top of or beneath the KWH 225i.
