To adjust the tilt position of the bars, use a 5mm Allen-key to loosen the side bolt, and a 6mm Allen-key to loosen the bottom plate. Once in position re-tighten both bolts. Both brake levers have a parking brake feature allowing you to lock them in place when you are not riding the trike. These do not work when you are riding. Place the bottom of the battery in the mount and then push the top firmly in place until it clicks and locks in.
