Recommend to check and calibrate as described at maintenance part of this manual for normal operation of the UTL-200. Carry out the periodic inspection and the calibration by the maker at least once a year. Use the original components and spare parts.
UTL-200 as of Oil/Water interface detector of GAS-TIGHT has various characteristics. It can be summarized briefly as follows. Immediately Measurement The tape measure is wound up the inside of UTL-200 body, and can be identified immediately using a tape measure when detected the physical properties. Ultrasonic Detection UTL-200 is a product with high responsiveness in any liquid by applying an ultrasonic sensor.
WATER (CONTINUOUS BEEP) Using the key switch operation function, UTL-200 can be occurring the LED flashing equal cycle like the beep operation as above. If around the dark or noisy environment, this function can be useful. In addition, it provide the function that can be check the physical property and the current measured temperature value with illuminating the LCD Backlight using the key switch operation.
UTL-200 OPERATION MANUAL Rev. : 1.7 3 MEASURING PRINCIPLE 3.1 Detection of ULTRA Sensing Probe 3.1.1 General ULTRA sensing probe is combined with two stainless steel tube and the high-polymer plastic head, it is consist of the ultrasonic sensor, temperature sensor and the conductive electrode and can be measured the Ullage, boundary and temperature.
UTL-200 OPERATION MANUAL Rev. : 1.7 3.1.3 Interface Detection When Interface bar and temperature bar to be touched as shown in figure 3.2, the electrical signal flowing through two electrodes is sent to the display unit by conductive of water.
UTL-200 OPERATION MANUAL Rev. : 1.7 3.2 Measuring Tape The tape is consist of the steel tape and the steel core(2 wires) and coated with Teflon. The steel tape is protected to support the weight of probe, the cores are electrically connected to the display unit and sensor probe to be transferring the power and signal.
