Q.) Why does my monitor display (COPYRIGHT PROTECTED) even after applying the GoDVD to
my hookup?
A.) Go over all your connections. This is a result of the GoDVD hooked up incorrectly. Refer to the
hookup diagram in the manual.
Q.) When I press PLAY on my VCR that is connected to the GoDVD's input, sometimes the color of
my video is off (Smurf like). What is the problem?
A.) Some vcr's take a short time to get the tape up to speed, which can cause the GoDVD! to improperly
detect the color signal in your video. If it happens once in a while, you can simply press the video input
select button twice and the problem should be fixed. This lets the GoDVD! synchronize on a good portion
of the video signal.
Q.) When I try to play a PAL tape from my family in Germany, it does not play in my VCR. Why?
A.) Most VCRs sold in the USA only support NTSC (the standard used by USA, Canada and some other
countries). You need a VCR that is multi-format that supports both NTSC and PAL (the standard used by
Germany and other European countries). Then you can use the GoDVD! with this VCR as the GoDVD!
will work with both NTSC and PAL video signals.
Q.) Why is there only one video cable included?
A.) When connecting the CT-2 between your playback & recording device and assuming you already have
one set of cables on hand now in your current hookup. Only 1 cable is necessary to complete the setup.
Q.) The unit gets warm because during normal operation. Can I leave it plugged in at all times?
A.) It's ok to leave the Ct-2 Plugged in at all times. The unit will get warm to touch but not overheat.
Q.) What about the audio connection?
A.) We don't have audio connections on the CT-2. This product only enhances the video portion. The audio
can be connected directly from the playback output to the recorder input. There will be no lapse or timing
difference between the audio & video signal.
Q.) Can this be hooked to my computer?
A.) This is not designed as a computer peripheral. Although with some capture programs it is possible to
work. Sima only gives customer support for stand-alone equipment.
Q.) Will you be coming out with one that has DVI, fire wire, or component video connections?
A.) The CT-2 only supports composite & s-video connections.
Q.) The unit will not turn on?

outlet. If the outlet is working properly contact Sima for a replacement adapter.

A.) Select the desired video enhancement mode by pressing the Video Enhancement button. The button
cycles between four enhancement modes starting with normal to enhance to darken to B&W.

easily be known what setting you are currently using.
