Follow these easy steps to get started using your SmartPad and InkNote Manager software. Refer to the User’s Guide on the CD-ROM for more information. 1. - Page 4 2. Install the SmartPad Portfolio Batteries The SmartPad portfolio is powered by two AAA batteries. To install the bat- teries in the SmartPad portfolio: Press down on the top edge of the battery cover and then slide the cover toward the bottom of the portfolio to remove the cover. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.
