Familiarize yourself with the appliance before connecting it to its gas container. Keep these instructions for future reference.

If you smell gas:
- Do not attempt to light appliance.
- Extinguish any open flame.
- Disconnect from fuel supply.
- Evacuate area, call for professional help.
Do not store or use gasoline or other liquids with flammable vapours in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
This stove is equipped for use with butane or propane gas only. Do not attempt to operate this stove at temperatures below freezing (32 degrees F).

USE OF THE APPLIANCE WITH BUTANE CANISTER

This portable gas stove shall be used with 227g (8 Oz.) GASONE Model GAS-1 non-refillable fuel canister. Canister must be marked to D.O.T. type 2P or 2Q containers.
IT MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO ATTEMPT TO FIR OTHER TYPES OF GAS CONTAINERS.
* REMOVE ANY TRANSIT PROTECTION MATERIAL.
FITTING THE BUTANE CANISTER
- Make sure the Canister Locking Lever is in the "UNLOCK" position or the gas cartridge can not be installed.
Make sure the Control Knob is turned all the way clockwise to the "OFF" position. (Fig. 1)

- Open the Gas Canister Cover and insert the cartridge so that the regulator guide is aligned with the notch in the canister rim. (Fig. 2)

Check that the seals between the appliance and the gas canister are in place and in good condition before connecting the gas canister. - DO NOT use this appliance if it has damaged or worn seals.
- DO NOT use this appliance if it is leaking, damaged or does not operate properly.
- Push down on the Canister Lever to the "FULL LOCK" position. (Fig. 3)

NOTE: If the gas canister is not connected correctly, you will hear a hissing sound. If you hear a hissing sound, check for any leaks by using soapy water. Never use a flame. Bubbles would indicate a gas leak.

When connecting or disconnecting the gas canister, be sure that no external sources of ignition are present.

BEFORE LIGHTING THE COOKER, ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE PAN SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY HAS BEEN TURNED AND PLACED IN THE UPRIGHT AND CORRECT POSITION.
Operating the appliance with the pan support in the down (storage/transportation) position will cause the appliance to overheat and possible explode.

THE OPENINGS AT THE BASE OF THE BURNER PROVIDE AIR FOR COMBUSTION, THE SHOULD NEVER BE OBSTRUCTED. IF THE FLAME BECOMES SIGNIFICANTLY ORANGE CHECK THESE OPENINGS FOR A BLOCKAGE.
IF THE APPLIANCE CANNOT BE ADJUSTED TO PERFORM CORRECTLY IT SHOULD NOT BE USED UNTIL SERVICED OR REPAIRED.
LIGHTING THE STOVE
NOTE: Close the Canister Cover before lighting. Not closing the cover can cause the canister to overheat.
- Turn the Control Knob counterclockwise until you hear a click indicating that a spark has been produced. (Fig. 4) Hold the Control Knob in this position for few seconds prime the flame guard thermocouple.

- If the stove does not light, turn the Control Knob back to the OFF position and repeat.
- If after three failed attempts, the stove does not light, turn the Control Knob to the "OFF" position and move the canister lever to the "UNLOCK" position.
- Open the canister cover and remove the canister. Shake the canister to see if it is empty. If empty, replace the canister and begin from Fig. 1
TO ADJUST HEAT
Flame can be controlled by turning the Ignition Knob between the 'IGNITION' and 'OFF' position.
EXTINGUISHING
- Turn the Ignition Knob to 'OFF' to shut off fuel supply (Fig. 5). Wait until the flame is fully extinguished before performing the next step.is fully extinguished before performing the next step.

- Raise the Canister Lock Lever to 'UNLOCK' and remove the gas canister from the compartment. (Fig. 1)
Note: Do not leave the gas canister inside the unit when not in use.
AFTER USE
- Replace the cap on the gas canister after removing it from the unit. Store upright in a cool dry place.
- Make sure the burner is cool to touch before packing unit away.
THE AUTOMATIC SAFETY SHUT-OFF DEVICE ACTIVATION
- When used in high temperature areas, such as the beach during summer or in a hot room, the internal pressure of the canister may rise to more than 5-6K g/cm2 (normal pressure = 2-3K g/cm2). This will activate the Automatic Safety Shut-off Device inside the regulator.
- Remove the Gas Canister from the compartment.
If the stove had been in use and was working properly, the butane can should be cold.
If it is not and feels warm, go back to the "Precautions" on the Stove Use section and confirm if you are using the stove correctly. - Turn the Ignition Knob to 'IGNITION' to release any excess gas inside the regulator.
Repeat the 3 steps for inserting the gas canister after it has cooled down.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE WITH PROPANE CYLINDER
SETUP WITH 16.4 oz DISPOSABLE PROPANE CYLINDER
Hose assembly to be used with propane cylinder ONLY!
- Make certain the control/ignition knob is in the off position.
- Remove any butane fuel canister if present.
- Thread the brass fitting of the hose assembly onto the gas inlet of the stove. Brass fitting should be snug (hand tighten only). Make sure the hose assembly is connected to the stove first, then connect to propane cylinder.
- Remove plastic cap from top of propane cylinder.
- Screw propane cylinder into REGULATOR. Make sure hose assembly is securely connected before igniting.
- Check the connection between the propane cylinder and gas inlet of stove with soapy water. Bubbles indicate a leak.
- Make sure stove is placed on a at, sturdy surface before igniting.
- Close gas canister.
TO LIGHT
- Turn control knob counterclockwise until you hear the ignition clicking sound. Burner should light up.
- Adjust flame to the desired heat level with control knob.
TO TURN OFF
- Turn control knob clockwise to the OFF position.
- Disconnect hose from the propane cylinder first, THEN disconnect the hose assembly from the stove. Hose assembly can be folded and stored inside the metal ap.
TO STORE
- Be sure stove is cool.
- ALWAYS - remove propane cylinder from regulator before storing stove and replace plastic cap on cylinder. Always detach propane cylinder outdoors away from ignition sources. Store stove in a dry, clean and safe place.
- Unscrew regulator with gas hose from the gas inlet of the stove.
- Cylinders must be stored outdoors out of children.

MAINTENANCE AND CAUTIONS

- Never leave the stove unattended when hot or when in use.
- Do not modify the appliance.

Accessible parts may become very hot.
Keep young children away from the appliance at all times. - Keep the stove area clear and free of combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors and liquids.
- Do not obstruct the flow of ventilation and combustion air around the appliance.
- Keep your stove clean using a stiff brush to clean the burner head.
- Use a soft cloth to clean greasy parts of the stove with soap and water.
- Keep the igniter and the burner head gap free from debris for easy lighting.
- Clean stove frequently to avoid grease build up and as necessary.
- Burner flame should be blue with hint of yellow tip.
FIRE HAZARDS
- Never store butane near high heat, open flames, direct sunlight, or any location that can exceed 100F.
- Never install or remove butane canister or propane cylinder while the stove flame is ignited or near any source of ignition such as another stoves in use, pilot lights chafing dish fuels or any open flame or spark.
- During operation, this appliance can also be a source of ignition. Do not use near explosive or combustibles such as gasoline, paint thinner, explosive vapors or other cans of butane or propane.
- Keep appliance away from flammable materials.

PRECAUTIONS FOR FUEL USE
- Check that the canister or cylinder is empty before changing it (shake to hear the noise made by the liquid).
- Check the seals before connecting new canister or cylinder to the appliance.
- Change the gas canister or cylinder outside away from people, in a well ventilated location, away from any source of ignition, such as open flames, pilot lights, and electrical fires.

- Never store any canister, cylinder or hose assembly near a heat source, open flames, or any source of ignition.
- Never store in direct sunlight or space that may exceed temperatures of 110 ºF.

- Never remove canister, cylinder, or hose assembly while the stove is lit.
- Never try to re ll butane canister or propane cylinder.
- Avoid any strong impact that might damage the canister, cylinder or hose assembly.
- Keep cap cover on canister or cylinder when not in use.

- Do not dispose of the canister or cylinder into a fire.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING STOVE PRECAUTIONS
- Do not carry the unit while it is burning. (Fig. 6)

- Do not touch the unit while in use or just after use.
- Do not overheat the stove.
- Do not use for drying clothes.
- Do not use two or more stoves adjacent to each other. (Fig. 7)

- Do not use as a heater.
- Never use the stove without the pan support.
- Do not use a pan larger than 10.5" as this will cover the fuel compartment and cause the canister to overheat. (Fig. 8)

- Do not use two or more stoves covered by a single pan or metal sheet. (Fig. 9)

- Never use aluminum foil as a cooking container on the stove.
- Never use ceramic cookware.
- The appliance must be operated on a horizontal surface.
- If sand, mud, stones or other debris are present, place a piece of non-combustible matting that is larger than the stove, on the ground and place the stove on top of the matting. This is to prevent these items form entering the stove.
- Avoid direct sunlight or other heat sources that could exceed 110 F. (Fig. 10)
- Never heat an empty pan.
Do not use in windy conditions as the flame may be extinguished. Gas will continue to flow creating a hazardous condition. (Fig. 11)

- Never use the stove near flammable materials or combustible vapors. (Fig. 12)

- Do not use this stove below shelves or where there is a danger of falling objects.
- If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas), take it outside immediately into a well-ventilated flame free location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on your appliance, do it outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water.
- This appliance must only be serviced by an authorised person.
- This appliance and all combustion appliances produce carbon monoxide, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
