Set up Progressive Scan
Progressive scan offers higher picture resolution
and quality, it displays twice the number of frames
per seconds than the ordinary TV system. If your
have a progressive scan TV, you can enable the
progressive scan on your home theater to enjoy
higher picture quality.
Note
•
There are some progressive scan TVs that are
not fully compatible with your home theater,
resulting in an unnatural picture when you play a
video disc. In such case, turn off the progressive
scan feature on your home theater and the TV.
Before you start
•
Connect your home theater to the TV
through component video connection.
•
Make the necessary connections described in
the quick start guide, and then switch the TV
to the correct source for your home theater.

Select [Setup] and then press OK .

Select [Video] > [Progressive] .

Select [On] and press OK .
» A warning message is displayed.

To proceed, select [OK] and press OK .
» A distorted picture may be displayed, it
is because the progressive scan mode on
the TV is deactivated.

Enable the progressive scan mode on the TV.
For details, see the TV user manual.
» If the setting is not compatible with
the TV, a blank or distorted screen is
displayed. Wait for 15 seconds for auto
recovery.

Use your home

This section helps you use the home theater to
play media from a wide range of sources.
Before you start

Make the necessary connections described in
the quick start guide and the user manual.
•
Switch the TV to the correct source for your
home theater (for example, HDMI, AV IN).
Access the home menu
The home menu provides easy access to
connected devices, setup and other useful features
in your home theater.

[DISC] : Start disc play.

[USB] : Access the USB content browser

[Setup] : Access menus to change video,

audio and other settings.

Discs
Your home theater can play DVDs, VCDs, and
CDs. It can also play discs that you've made at
home, such as CD-R discs of photos and music.

Insert a disc into the home theater.

If the disc does not play automatically, press
DISC .
