While the soldering iron tip is hot, wipe the tip against a
damp sponge or a metallic wool pad to remove debris.
Keeping a clean tip is important to extend the life of the
tip and will improve solder melting and flow during use.
For greater safety and reliability, all repairs should be
performed by an authorised service centre.
