  • Page 8 REMOTE CONTROL Battery Installation and Operation Install the two supplied AA batteries as shown. Aim the remote control at the VCR and press the desired buttons to operate.     CABLE TV Connect an antenna (or a cable TV system) to the VCR. Connect the VCR to the TV with the 75 ohm coaxial cable (supplied). Plug the power cord (supplied) into the AC power input (AC IN ~) on the VCR back panel. Insert the plug firmly.

    TRACKING CONTROL Tracking Control Adjustments When you play a tape that was not recorded on this VCR, some noise may appear in the picture due to incorrect head-to-tape tracking. The VCR will automatically adjust the tracking for the optimum results.

  • Page 31 Setting a Program Timer Recording Using the Buttons on the VCR If the remote control does not operate or is not available you can use the buttons on the VCR front panel to set a program timer recording. NOTE: Eject the cassette tape, before proceeding with the steps below.
