Cleartec Coalescing Plate Separator Installation, operation, and maintenance System description The Cleartec Coalescing Plate Separator (CPS) is an enhanced, gravity separator incorporating the latest technology. Fig. 1 CPS basic operation CPS units are designed with a combination of vertical and horizontal coalescing plates. From the inlet port, the flow is directed through the vertically-orientated plates where solids are separated under gravity for collection in the hopper below. -
