Several settings are available on your television to enable you to
control the quality of the sound:
Bass, Treble, Balance, Volume, Pseudo stereo.

Press MENU (

Result:
The television menu is displayed.

Select the SOUND option by pressing P

Press the + button.
Result:
The sound adjustment options are displayed.

Select one of the options by pressing P
followed by the + button.
Result:
A horizontal bar is displayed.

To decrease or increase the value displayed, press - or + respectively.
You have approximately three seconds to modify the value, before
the previous menu is redisplayed.

When you are satisfied with the settings, press MENU (
appropriate number of times to return to normal viewing.
Result:
Your settings are stored and will be kept next time you switch
the television on.
"Pseudo stereo" converts a monaural sound signal
into two identical left and right channels.
Once the Pseudo stereo is set to "On" or "Off", the
setting applies to the sound effects such as Standard,
Music, Movie and Speech.

You can select the type of special sound effect to be used when
watching a given broadcast. The following sound effects are
available in the order given: Custom, Standard, Music, Movie and
Speech.

Select the SOUND option by pressing P
Result:
The "Sound" menu is displayed.

Press - or + button repeatedly to cycle through the five choices: CUSTOM,
STANDARD, MUSIC, MOVIE, SPEECH.
You can select the required sound effect by simply
pressing the "S.STD" (Sound standard) button on the
remote control.
