While washing your unit, be sure to keep the area around the burner dry at all times. If the gas control is exposed to water in any way, do NOT try to use it. It must be replaced.

Storage

NOTE: Store the fire pit indoors during the winter if it will be subjected to freezing temperatures.

NOTE: In a high salt environment (such as by the sea), corrosion occurs more rapidly than normal. Frequently check for corroded areas and repair them promptly.

  1. Turn the control knob to "OFF" position.
  2. Turn to close the propane cylinder valve.
  3. Allow at least 45 minutes for the fire pit to cool down after use.
  4. Take out the battery from the battery compartment during extended periods of inactivity or transportation.
  5. Turn the regulator counter-clockwise to disconnect it from the gas cylinder, then turn the cylinder clamp screw counter-clockwise to loosen the cylinder from the fire pit.
  6. Remove the cylinder and seal it tightly using threaded valve plugs. Store the gas cylinder outdoors in a wellventilated area out of the reach of children.
  7. Hang the regulator on the gas regulator handle to prevent it from being damaged.
  8. Cover the fire pit with the provided fabric cover to protect exterior surfaces and to help prevent build up of debris in air passages.
