Instructions For Use

1. Make sure your headband is fully charged.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
   Once your Muse is turned on and your Bluetooth is enabled, Muse will pair directly with the Muse app. There is no need to pair Muse in your Bluetooth settings.
   
3. Download the Muse App.
   
   Search your app store for: Muse: the brain sensing headband

4. Create your account.
   Note: You can share your headband, but not your account. Sign out before letting a friend try Muse or use the "do a demo" mode.
   

5. Connect your Muse.
   1. Turn on your headband by pressing the power button.
   2. In the Muse app, tap your model number, which will be shown as the last 4 digits of your headband's serial number.
      
6. Tap "Start Session".
   You'll be prompted to go through our Muse on-boarding tutorial.
   
7. Put on your Muse & Headphones.

1. To fit your Muse correctly for good signal quality, expand it to its largest size and place the rubber ear sensors behind your ears - making sure there is no hair between the sensors and your skin.
2. From there, tighten the headband back up for a snug fit. The band should fall in the middle of your forehead. Not too low, and not too high!

8. Calibrate, meditate, and review!
   1. Simply follow the in-app tutorial, relax, and enjoy your Muse session.
   2. After you're done, review your results and see how you did.
