Settings
Home URL: allows you to see the WAP server
address.
Gateway address (available only for the WAP
protocol): allows you to set the gateway address.
Proxy address/Port (available only for the
HTTP protocol): allows you to set the proxy
server address and port.
Secure connection (available only for the WAP
protocol): allows you to select On or Off.
Linger time: allows you to set a time period
after which the network is disconnected if there
has been no new data traffic in that time.
Advanced settings
Static IP: you can specify if you want to manually
enter an IP address; see the Local phone IP
option. If you want the IP address to be
automatically assigned by the server, remove the
check mark.
Local phone IP: enter the IP address obtained
from the network operator, if you checked the
Static IP option.
Static DNS: you can specify if you want to
manually enter the DNS(Domain Name Service)
address; see the Server 1/2 option. If you want

the address to be automatically assigned by the
server, remove the check mark.
Server 1/2: enter the Domain Name Service
addresses.
Traffic class: select the traffic class, if you
selected the PS network.

Managing Connections

You can add a new connection and edit or delete
an existing connection.
On a list of connections, press the Up or Down
key to select an connection and press the
Options soft key.
The following options are available.
Edit: allows you to edit the selected connection.
New: allows you to add a new connection.
Delete: deletes the selected connection.
Rename: allows you to change name of the
selected connection.
