5. Before starting the equipment

Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Fastening the grinding/sanding paper
(Fig. 2)
The hook-and-loop fastener enables easy chan-
ging. Make sure that the vacuum extraction holes
on the grinding/sanding paper and the grinding/
sanding disk are aligned.
5.2 Swiveling the grinding/sanding plate
(Fig. 3 / Item 2)
By swiveling the grinding/sanding plate (2) you
can start working again more quickly when any
corners of the grinding/sanding paper or the grin-
ding/sanding plate are worn.
1. Open the grinding/sanding plate lock (1).
2. Swivel the grinding/sanding plate (2).
3. Close the grinding/sanding plate lock (1).
5.3 Fitting the dust extractor adapter
(Fig. 4-6 / Item 3)
1. Press on one side of the cap for the dust ext-
raction opening (4).
2. Remove the cap for the dust extraction ope-
ning (4) from the other side.
