Short messages
Using this menu, you can set up default SMS
information. The following options are available:
Service centre: allows you to store or change the
number of your SMS centre required when sending
messages. You must obtain this number from your
service provider.
Validity period: allows you to set the length of
time your messages are stored at the message
centre while attempts are made to deliver them.
Message type: allows you to set the message type
to Text, Fax, Voice, ERMES, X400, or E-Mail.
The network can convert the messages into the
selected format.
Reply path: allows the recipient of your SMS
message to send you a reply via your message
centre, if the service is provided by the network.
Delivery report: allows you to set on or off. When
this function is set to on, the network informs you
whether or not your message has been delivered.
Set blacklist: allows you to make a blacklist to
reject the selected sender's SMS message. You can
set up to 10 numbers as a blacklist.
Status: when this option is set to On, your phone
does not receive any SMS message from the sender
registered in a blacklist.
Blacklist: you can manage a blacklist. When the list
displays, press the Options soft key to add, edit,
and delete each blacklist entry.
